Launched a new website to better reflect their mission to help poor and marginalized groups, promote women’s rights and gender equality, and advance racial and ethnic equality.

 

Client:

Global Rights is an international human rights capacity-building organization that works side by side with local activists in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to promote and protect the rights of marginalized populations. At the core of our programming is a deep commitment to increase access to justice for poor and marginalized groups, promote women’s rights and gender equality, and advance racial and ethnic equality.

New Website Goals:

  • Stronger focus on highlighting Global Rights' mission, programs, and the difference they make in the communities they serve
  • A visually more stimulating website that featured some of the images related to their mission
  • Improved site architecture and site map to enable users to access information easily and find what they’re looking for

Project Details:

  • Focused on creating a site that is simple, clean while using strong images to draw attention towards the content.
  • Define the overall website goals, target audience and personas.
  • Redefine the site architecture to be more in line with goals and target audiences.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching to empower the staff to build the necessary skills internally to maintain the site moving forward.

  • Site launched April 2010
