Approach

  • Develop strategy for each campaign in advance using data from previous years, client stakeholder discovery sessions and internal research on industry trends and best practices
  • Coordinate design and content that adheres to approved campaign strategies
  • Testing throughout year to incrementally improve campaign strategies including timing, subject lines, content, segmentation and design elements
  • Use of innovative email technologies such as animated GIFs to provide freshness and interest to campaigns throughout the year

Outcome

  • Majority of email campaigns raised more money than previous year with multiple campaigns more than doubling total revenue
  • Improvement on engagement factors on emails across campaigns including greater open rates and click-throughs
  • Improvements in average gift size with some campaigns improving by as much as 56%
  • Effective coordination with client so that email campaigns can be implemented and launched in timely, efficient manner after completion of Charity Dynamics strategy, design and content development
