Developed specifically for The Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas, the “Paramount Theatre Application” provides a new, more efficient way for the organization to stay connected with patrons while keeping them updated with the most current theatre news and offerings.

The Paramount Theatre is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has entertained Central Texas audiences for nearly 100 years. The Paramount Theatre Application is available for free to iPhone owners through the iTunes application store, and provides an easy way to get show updates and conduct other theatre-related actions from the convenience of their mobile devices. Through the application, users can view a listing Paramount shows for upcoming seasons; buy tickets; access special show offers; obtain a map and GPS-based directions to the theatre; register to become a member; make a donation; and even share the application with a friend.

Additionally, while the Paramount’s iPhone application provides a new communication channel for the theatre to utilize, online administrators can still manage all content from a centralized location. For example, a single show update made on the organization’s web content management system is instantly reflected across multiple communication channels, including the Paramount Theatre website, Facebook and, now, the theatre’s iPhone application.
