What cause are you passionate about?
I am passionate about continuous Learning, Leadership and Women Empowerment.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
My current destination is any place with an ocean and sand. There is nothing like a summer day spent at the ocean side filled with laughter, sunshine and waves hitting the shoreline. I do wish to travel to Ireland and Iceland to enjoy their greenery.
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
If I were to win the lottery today, I would set up a scholarship program for Aspiring Women Leaders. As most would, I would buy a destination vacation home and make certain to visit it with my daughter often.
What did you want to be when you grew up? What happened?
When I was younger, I wanted to be a neo-natal nurse. As I worked through college, I found that my passion was working alongside a team. I decided that influencing others and guiding them as adults or young adults brought me the most joy. As I continue my education, I know that my dream retirement job is to teach at a University.
What is the best invention during your lifetime?
The best invention in my generation is Alexa. I love having her aid in different tasks by simply saying “Alexa…” Her features are vast, she updates my calendar, set timers, looks up information on the web and plays music. It amazes me what she can do, and she is proof on how technology can assist/enhance our daily lives.
