Heather Gephart

Director, Program Management Office

@life

Heather was born and raised in Austin, Texas where she grew up playing sports, playing piano and dancing (ballet). She left to attend the University of North Texas where she studied Marketing, Economics and English, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998. Through her sorority, she found a passion for philanthropy, specifically supporting Susan G. Komen, and realized she wanted to make a career out of helping others to embrace and serve important missions. While in Dallas, she had the opportunity to intern with the Dallas Stars and Texas Rangers and begin her non-profit career with the American Heart Association. She met her husband and had her first child there, and as a family they decided to return to Austin in 2007 – just before having her second child. She finds happiness watching sports – especially when her boys are playing. Football being her favorite! As a family – they love staying active, playing with their two Rhodesian Ridgebacks and spending time out at the lake.
