Lauren Pierron
Support Analyst

@life
Lauren was born and raised in Austin, Texas and moved to chilly Idaho for college. She spent time in Utah and Virginia before moving back to Texas after graduating.
She moved to Lubbock after getting married to her sweetheart in 2019 and has been working on the support team remotely since then! Lauren enjoys watching movies, sketching, playing board games with her husband, and studying old house architecture and restoration.
What cause are you passionate about?
I am passionate about maternal and child health and development, as well as intersectional social justice issues.
If you had a time machine, what would you do?
As a big Jane Austen fan, I’d probably hop back to the 19th century to share some cake with nobility and admire their homes’ architecture, and then hurry back to the present to enjoy indoor plumbing and the right to vote!
Where’s your favorite vacation spot?
I spent a month in Australia the summer after I graduated high school and loved it. It’s insane how diverse the ecosystems are!
Have you ever won a contest?
In the seventh grade, I got second place in a poster design contest for APD’s middle school crime prevention program. You can buy a lot of pretzels with a $50 gift card to the mall.
