Sheila was born in Yokosuka, Japan (Naval Base), but she grew up in Zalma, Missouri where the population is 93 people. She received her Bachelor of Science in PR at Missouri State University and her Master of Arts in Communication at Drury University. Sheila loves animals, traveling and spending time outdoors.

What cause are you most passionate about?

Women’s causes, education and social justice.

What are you a fan of?

Almost all foods, but a particular affinity for dumplings.

What are you not a fan of?

Mushrooms or truffle oil – or anything fungus related. And wilted lettuce..

What is something you have always wanted to try?

Bungee jumping – but also I have a huge list of places I plan to see in my lifetime.

Sheila’s career and education has focused on making communication effective, empathetic, clear and impactful. She has worked in various client relationship roles for over five years – with three of those years focused on technology, including working at ThoughtWorks, and two of those as Assistant Director of a nonprofit organization. Sheila has experience working with for- and non-profit organizations, using a consultative sales approach to understand needs and bring solutions to clients. Whether product, services, people, membership and retention, content management or event planning – Sheila has worked on all of it. Sheila holds a MA in Communication from Drury University. Now, she puts her skills to use as a Client Development Manager here at Charity Dynamics
