Challenge

  • Incorporating the client’s new branding material throughout the design of the website
  • Reducing the overall maintenance of the site without losing critical functionality
  • Reimagined site architecture to meet the present needs of the organization

Approach

  • Worked closely with the branding vendor to understand how key attributes of the new logo, color pallete, and fonts should be applied to the website
  • Held discovery sessions and completed a thorough review of the existing site to determine painpoints and paths to simplify the overall site
  • Reviewed Google Analytics and other materials to better visualize and document the key site users and their primary needs/paths for the site

Outcome

  • Created a unique and cohesive design for the website while also complimenting print and other branding materials
  • Reduced the number of unnecessary plugins and custom enhancements, and selected a new set of tools to fit the specific needs of the site
  • Developed a unified site architecture and navigation for current and future site visitors
