Technical Operations Analyst

@life

David is an amazing Dad, because he is no more mature than the kids! His love for life and outgoing attitude makes him the life of the party and an amazing friend and husband.

What was the first big thing you bought with your own money?
I took a signature loan out when I turned 18 so I could build my first computer. My parents thought I was crazy and it was a waste of money. But I bought all of the components and built it all myself with the latest and greatest parts. That is what got me started with technology.

What was your favorite cartoon/TV show as a kid and why?
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. “I have the power!!!!!”

What was your first paying job?
Simple Simon’s Pizza, I could make a mean pizza back in the day. My Dad loved me working there, because I would bring home pizzas that were so loaded down that the bottom would sag on the box! I hated it, because I always smelled like pizza and my shoes had pizza sauce on them all the time.

Where is your favorite vacation spot?
Branson, Missouri. That is where we always went as a family when I was a kid. My cousin was the blacksmith at Silver Dollar City. To me it represents good clean, old fashioned family entertainment. I enjoy taking my kids there today to reminisce, although they don’t seem to enjoy it as much as I did as a kid!

David was born and raised in rural Oklahoma. He was the youngest of 4 and lived up to his title of baby of the family. Ornery is an understatement to describe him. But his outgoing attitude caught the attention of a shy new student and he met the love of his life in a home economics class his junior year of high school. They dated through high school and into college when they were married while attending Oklahoma State University. David’s fascination with all things computers and gadgets started shortly before they were married and took them to California after Audrey graduated. A few years later the happy couple decided to start a family, so they moved closer to home in Texas. Their first son was born in 2004. Son number 2 came along in 2008 and the third and final son, much to both of their surprise, was born in 2012.
