1) Cause Awareness Days
Mark Your Calendars! 2015 Cause Awareness Days! Cause awareness days can be powerful for fundraising because social network communities are likely to promote your nonprofit on these days provided that your nonprofit prepares in advance.

2) Best Practice for Luminate Online Users: Associate an interest with all your Email Campaigns
Taking this action will reduce the number of people who unsubscribe from email system wide and result in better email delivery. Associating an interest to every email campaign allows email receivers to opt out of just that email campaign. As a secondary option, the user can unsubscribe from all organization email. If no interest is assigned, users only have one option – unsubscribe from everything!

What do you need to do? Do an audit of every email campaign that has had an email sent from it in the past year. Then review the set-up of each to ensure an interest is associated with the campaign. If not, select or create a new one. There is a lot more to proper interest management, but by taking this first step, you will be on your way to preserving your email file.

3) Showcase Your Annual Report as an Interactive Infographic
Though the year just started, it’s not too early to start thinking about your organization’s annual report. Why not take this year’s report to the next level by making it a digital, interactive experience for your supporters? We love the idea of creating a dynamic report that links to multimedia content, highlights important milestones — and drives more users to support your cause.
